These images are some of my favourite black and white images that I have made over the years. My current work is all shot on colour transparency film, though I still enjoy the process of working in black and white.

All images in this gallery were captured on 5x4 film, which allows me to develop each sheet to suit the contrast I envisaged before exposing the film. I use the method called "developing by inspection" to control the contrast of the negative during development. I then scan the film at up to 2400 dpi and produce lightjet prints from the files.
